City Break Scarf

Who doesn't love a tiny scarf? This one uses 50g of DK yarn and can easily be packed in your bag for a quick weekend knit.

Deadline: 1st September 2024 (release late Sept/early October)

Size: approx. 45” / 115 cm long & 9” / 23 cm wide.

Needles: 5mm

Gauge: not important, no need to swatch, should be around 16 sts per 4” / 10 cm

Yarn:

DK weight yarn, at least 50g / 150m - sample knit in Gepard eco cashmere vintage (150m/50g)

Or

Fingering weight held with mohair, at least 150m of each strand

Difficulty: Confident beginner. Techniques include, knitwise increases, slipping sts and reading charts. All techniques are standard and tutorials can easily be found online.

Practicalities: The test knit will be run via google docs and discord. There will not be an instagram chat (it's just super impractical sorry!). All feedback should be given via the google doc so please make sure you are comfortable using docs, in addition questions can also be shared on discord.
