CLOSED: Sweet Shop Hat Testing Call

The idea for the sweet shop hat was born from several sources of inspiration, first I was left with a lot of awkwardly small amounts of the petite wool, secondly Instagram was pushing lots of two chunky two coloured yarnicorn brioche knits my way by @claraeggers and others. Oh, and I just love a squishy hat!

Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL)

17” (19”, 21.5”, 24”, 26.5”) diameter

42cm (48cm, 54cm, 60cm, 67cm) diameter

*actual garment size, choose a size with at least 1" / 2.5cm negative ease

Yarn: Sample is knitted in The petite Wool by we are knitters in the colours 'yarnicorn' & 'speckled denim' (130m/100g). If you're new to we are knitters you can use the following code at checkout to get £10/euro/$ off: 'MGMIUP9XB'. However you can use any yarn that meets the gauge.

You will need equal yardage of each colour, the numbers below are yardages per colour

Yardage: 40g (50g, 60g, 70g, 80g)

60m (70m, 80m, 90m, 100m)

70y (80y, 85y, 95y, 105y)

Needles: 7mm needles (DPNs/circular)

Gauge: 10 stitches & 28 rows in brioche

Techniques: Two colour brioche
