Scarf: 45” / 115 cm long & 9” / 23 cm wide.
Shawl: 60” / 150cm long & 44” / 112cm wide.

Needles: 5.5mm straight or circular needles

Gauge: 14 stitches & 24 rows per 4” / 10cm in garter stitch after blocking
Yarn: 4ply & lace held together or a single strand of DK

Yardage:

Scarf: At least 50g / 115m DK (230m/100g) or 115m of each strand if held double.

Shawl: 125g / 415m 4ply/fingering (400m/100g) & 50g / 415m lace weight (225m/25g) or 415m of DK if held single.

Samples: The white scarf is knit in b13 yarns Angora/BFL (110m/50g) and used 105m / 48g.

The red shawl is knit in Hobbii Alpaca Silk (166m/50g) in ʻMarrakeshʼ & Kid Silk (195m/25g) in ʻRed Clayʼ and used approximately 415m of each strand.
